Job Summary

Housing Visions Unlimited, Inc is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for its corporate office at 1201

E. Fayette St. in Syracuse, NY. This full‑time, benefits‑eligible position supports the Finance team in ensuring fiscal responsibility and supporting families and neighborhoods across Central New York.

$20.00/hr — $25.00/hr (DOE; determined by skills and experience)

Monday–Thursday 8:00 am–5:30 pm;
Friday 8:00 am–12:00 pm. Office: 1201

E. Fayette St., Syracuse, NY.

• Process 200–300 invoices weekly with accuracy and efficiency.
• Review, code, and prepare invoices for approval and payment.
• Print, distribute, and mail signed checks.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain vendor records.
• Answer vendor inquiries and assist internal staff with financial needs.
• Prepare analyses of accounts and assist with bank reconciliations, credit card statements, and security deposits.
• Support audit preparation and month‑end reporting.
• Collaborate across the Finance team to continuously improve processes.
