Tax Accountant

CR Fletcher is seeking a Tax Accountant for a client company in the Syracuse area.

Job Summary
Selected candidate will be responsible for filing tax returns for individuals and small businesses in compliance with tax laws and regulations

Key duties and responsibilities

• Preparing and filing tax returns:
  This includes individual, corporate, and partnership returns, as well as forms like 1099s.
• Tax planning and research:
  Staying current with tax code changes and identifying tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Supporting tax audits:
  Assisting clients in responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies and auditors.
• Maintaining financial records:
  Accurately preparing and organizing financial documentation related to tax matters.
• Providing tax advice:
  Offering guidance to clients on various tax-related issues and strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree

• Minimum 1+ years experience in public accounting filing tax returns
