Job SummaryThe Norton College of Medicine endeavors to prepare students for delivering the highest quality patient care to our communities. The Office of Undergraduate Medical Education administers the undergraduate medical education program, coordinates the content and sequence of courses, and promotes innovative learning, teaching, and evaluation of techniques. Our curriculum integrates foundational and clinical sciences while addressing the humanistic aspects of medicine- including the ethical, legal, and social implications.
The Phase 1 Curriculum Coordinator is a full-time administrative position in the Office of Undergraduate Medical Education. The coordinator will provide administrative support for the undergraduate medical school curriculum, including course coordination, project management and general office administration.
Areas of responsibility- Program Planning and Continuous Improvement
- Course and Curriculum Administration
- Learning Management System and Educational Technology Support
- Scheduling and Logistics Coordination
- Communication and Stakeholder Support
- Curricular projects and tasks as assigned by the UME Director or Phase 1 Manager.
Bachelor's degree and one year of administrative or education related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Interest in medical education. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior administrative experience in an academic setting preferred.
