Job Summary:

The IMT Division Coordinator independently provides high-level administrative, analytical, financial, and operational support for the Information Management & Technology (IMT) division to the CIO/CISO. This position coordinates complex business processes; prepares reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and business documentation; supports budget development, invoice review, financial reporting, and related fiscal activities; and assists with departmental and division initiatives. The Coordinator exercises independent judgment and discretion in assessing information, prioritizing work, resolving issues, maintaining confidentiality, and determining appropriate follow-through.

The position also provides guidance and training to IMT administrative staff, supports leadership decisions, identifies operational needs and process improvements, and promotes consistency, accountability, collaboration, and efficiency across administrative operations. This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, analytical thinking, initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities while serving as a trusted resource and collaborative liaison for IMT leadership, staff, Upstate departments, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Communications, or Healthcare related field and five years of progressively responsible administrative or business support experience, or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Communications, or Healthcare related field and seven years of progressively responsible administrative or business support experience. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills with highly tuned attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in information technology. Experience supporting budgets, payroll, invoicing, or financial operations. Ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and work independently. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across departments.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday 8-4:30
