Automotive Technician – Experienced

Cantech Automotive is seeking motivated, positive, and experienced individuals for its service department.

This individual must have a professional attitude, be punctual, have a good work ethic, desire to learn more beyond their current skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize properly.

Ideal candidates have experience as a mechanic, automotive mechanic, auto technician, and/or experience working with cars.

Our shop is filled with the latest equipment and is modeled after the equipment requirements of the likes of BMW and Porsche.

Work on the latest models (many clients bring their high-performance cars to us instead of the dealer, even during the warranty period)
Eight factory scan tools with OE technical support

Clean, neat, and bright.

Multiple information systems to aid in proper diagnosis and repair. We don’t expect miracles from our techs without having the right equipment

NOTE:

• Must have a valid US driver's license
• AT LEAST 3 YEARS AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN EXPERIENCE IN A SHOP IS REQUIRED
• 2 Years AAS or AOS degree in automotive technology is not required but would be very helpful
• Well versed in all aspects of automotive repair
• Must be able to do wheel alignments proficiently
• Strong European car background preferred
• Early Euro experience is a plus
• Domestic vehicle experience is a plus
• Perform multi-point inspections and advice of any work the vehicle will need for safety driving
• Ability to work on late model European cars (Although we do work on domestic and Asian)
• Proficient with Hunter tire and wheel alignment equipment
