About the TeamThe Corporate Sourcing and Procurement (CSP) team partners with business areas, acting as trusted advisors and business facilitators. CSP is responsible for vendor risk assessments, contracting, and ongoing vendor management, driving spend optimization, risk management and value creation.
Responsibilities- Lead assigned third‑party vendor initiatives focused on spend optimization through partnership with gainshare vendors.
- Implement and demonstrate project management discipline to plan, execute and communicate project approach, priorities, status and risk assessment.
- Ensure proper execution of assigned projects, monitoring services and updating stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the broader CSP team and all stakeholders across the company.
- Assist with other source‑to‑pay critical initiatives and leverage knowledge of business processes, risk, analysis and controls.
The base salary range for this position is $59,000–$80,000. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides performance‑based compensation, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. For detailed information, please refer to the Equitable Total Rewards Program.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of corporate sourcing and procurement experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of business operational processes, including source‑to‑pay.
- Ability to lead projects, manage timelines and influence others.
- Effective facilitation of meetings and clear communication of results and next steps.
- Critical thinker who analyzes problems and data to drive timely results.
- Knowledge of business risk, vendor risk and overall controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Curiosity about optimizing third‑party spend and investigating contracts and related data.
Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes necessary for sound decisions.
Cross‑functional CollaborationKnowledge of collaborative techniques that promote continuous improvement.
