Director of Sales – Manufacturing
We’re seeking a results-driven Sales Director to lead domestic growth for a manufacturing organization in Syracuse. This role will oversee a high-performing sales team, manage distributor and channel partner networks, and drive expansion into new and existing markets. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in technical or engineered product sales, along with a proven ability to scale teams, build partnerships, and execute growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and grow global sales and channel partnerships through the development and execution of strategic sales plans
- Mentor, coach, and motivate a sales team to expand market presence across multiple product lines and industries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales strategy, operations, and execution
- Analyze performance metrics, market trends, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities and improve effectiveness
- Travel domestically as needed to support customers, partners, and business development initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience within a manufacturing, technical, or regulated industry environment
- Proven experience managing distributor networks, channel partners, and/or OEM sales relationships
- Strategic, analytical, and hands-on leadership approach
- Ability to work onsite daily in the Syracuse, New York area
