SCHEDULE:

Full-time, 44 weeks per year, starting at $16.38 per hour.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working with preschool children in a group setting.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Employee will be enrolled by our agency into a Child Development Associate (CDA) credentialing program within 6 months of employment, to be completed within 2 years of employment.

• Assist the assigned classroom team in implementing a child-centered, quality early childhood program.
• Assist in providing a safe, warm and supportive classroom atmosphere that supports each child's individual growth and development.
• Support the involvement and engagement of parents or caregivers of enrolled children.
• Support and assist site staff as assigned.
• Assist in completing observations of children. Input daily attendance and meal counts into database.
• Serve as a bus monitor/rider as assigned.
