Junior Graphic Designer

Full-Time | In-Office, 5 Days a week

• Accurately complete design requests for marketing materials such as digital ads, emails, social media posts, flyers, etc. for a wide range of industries
• Create and design layouts for print materials
• Follow creative direction and demonstrate innovation and creativity when developing concepts, design and illustrations for marketing materials
• Resize and adapt current designs or campaigns to alternate layouts
• Update creative and text content on client Word Press sites
• Revise, edit and proofread text copy at a high level (for creative content) as needed
• Prioritize job assignments and projects based on internal and client need
• Keep track of and report time spent for each assignment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience:
  
  One (1) internship in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or similar position in-house or at an ad agency
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
• File management, naming, and organization skills
• Proven understanding of typography usage, layout design, and print production
• Experience designing for social media, print, and digital
• Basic copy editing and knowledge
• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing

Design Skills

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with previous experience working in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Proficient in Canva
• Experience working in Word Press: updating text, photos, and links
• Basic HTML understanding is a plus
• Figma experience is a plus
