Hospital Medicine- Per Diem- Physician - Syracuse, NY

St. Josephs Health is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician for a per-diem Hospitalist position ephs Hospital in Syracuse, New York. • Availability for 12-hour shifts; 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am (weekday and weekend shifts available)
• Provides professional medical services to an average daily census of 16-18 patients per Provider, closed ICU
• Makes daily rounds on all patients assigned to the Hospitalist Program
• Arranges for necessary follow-up care upon discharge from the Hospital
• Conducts a history and physical examination, and note dictated in our EPIC EMR system
• Work in conjunction with other consultants and Intensivist to effectively manage a medical crisis or change in assigned patients medical condition consulting with applicable parties in a timely fashion
• Works with an established medical center with comprehensive subspecialty support

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Valid medical license in the state of New York
• Prior experience as a Hospitalist preferred but not required
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment

• Compensation Ranges: $180 to $210 per hour (dependent on shift hours, holiday coverage, etc.)
