Job SummaryClinical Care: Active clinical practice by College of Medicine faculty members is essential for the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. It also helps faculty stay current with the latest treatments, procedures, and medications. Faculty are expected to provide excellent clinical care in ophthalmology, with an emphasis on neuro-ophthalmology, including primary care and consultation responsibilities, serving private and public clinic patients, and mentoring students and residents.
Faculty are also expected to develop innovative clinical services, establish a strong professional reputation, and participate in teaching, research, service, and mentoring activities.
Minimum Qualifications- MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
- Fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology and Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Ophthalmology Board certified or eligible
- NYS License or license eligible
