Position Type: Per diem, weekdays only, 10-hour shifts, no weekends or call required
About the CenterSpecialists' One-Day Surgery Center is a locally owned, state-of-the-art Orthopedic ambulatory surgery center offering procedures such as knee arthroscopy, lumbar and cervical injections, carpal tunnel release, shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, and joint replacement. The center provides a collegial, team-oriented environment with a quick credentialing process.
Responsibilities- Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Manage the medical care of patients under anesthesia during surgery and procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induce, maintain, and emerge from anesthesia
- Monitor patients' physiological conditions
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited college
- ECFMG and FLEX certifications
- Completion of an approved anesthesia residency
- Current medical license
Hourly Rate: $300/hour
