The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences seeks candidates with expertise in Sociology to teach introductory and intermediate courses for Fall 2025.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Sociology or a related field from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• College teaching experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English; proficiency in other languages considered.

• The adjunct pay rate for the 2025/26 academic year is $1,483 per credit hour. Assignments depend on enrollment.
• Adjuncts are eligible for participation in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
