We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Electrical Engineer to join our team by year’s end. Ideal candidates would have a passion for the built environment, an open mind, experience in REVIT, and an attention to detail for both the electrical design/engineering as well as other trades for coordination. This Engineer will play a key role in designing and implementing electrical systems for various building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Markets include K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Multifamily, and Commercial Office. This position also offers a unique opportunity for career advancement to take on the role of Department Head.

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, junior electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to create integrated design solutions.
• Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Conduct electrical load calculations, lighting design, and power distribution planning.
• Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Contribute to the growth and direction of the electrical engineering department with the potential to step into a leadership role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design within the building industry.
• Proficiency in Revit, and other design software is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Salary strongly based on experience, starting at $115,000.
