Job Summary: Vitrek is currently looking for an experienced Senior Analog Electrical Engineer to join our growing team of Software and Electrical engineers. This position is for a Full-Time Engineer charged with leading system design at our engineering center of excellence located in Albany, NY. You would be part of a team of engineers designing the next generation of products as well as maintaining the existing product line.
You would report to the Vice President of Engineering.
What You’ll Do:
- Digital, mixed signal, and analog circuit design including component selection, SPICE simulation, schematic/layout/BOM and debugging. The primary skill focus will be mixed signal and analog design
- Circuit Performance testing, focusing on noise performance and stability
- Legacy and Production Support
- Application Support
- Potential team or project leadership

What You’ll Need:
- BS/MS EE from an ABET-accredited university
- 5+ years of relevant experience in analog design
- Proof of eligibility to legally work within the United States
- Domestic and International travel may be required. The travel requirement is currently estimated to be less than 10%.
Nice to Have:
- Switching Inverters intended for smaller devices with a power of less than 50W
- Low and ultra-low noise analog amplifiers using both op amps and discrete transistors
- Audio amplifiers
- Analog filters using active components
- RF circuit design and testing
