You will perform data collection, analysis, design, technical studies, and prepare reports associated with sewer systems, drainage, and flood‑control components for water and environmental projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, calibrate, and validate hydrologic and hydraulic models for stormwater, sewer, and watershed systems.
- Perform analyses for flood risk, drainage design, and water‑quality assessments.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers to integrate modeling results into design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to water resources.
- Knowledge or experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and GIS.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) licensure.
- 4–8 years’ experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
- Micro Station and AutoCAD experience, including LiDAR data, surveying, 3‑D surfaces, and datum adjustments.
- Project engineering experience related to water‑resources, drainage, hydrology, and hydraulics design projects.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license.
