Base Pay Range

You will perform data collection, analysis, design, technical studies, and prepare reports associated with sewer systems, drainage, and flood‑control components for water and environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, calibrate, and validate hydrologic and hydraulic models for stormwater, sewer, and watershed systems.
  • Perform analyses for flood risk, drainage design, and water‑quality assessments.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers to integrate modeling results into design solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to water resources.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge or experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and GIS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) licensure.
  • 4–8 years’ experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
  • Micro Station and AutoCAD experience, including LiDAR data, surveying, 3‑D surfaces, and datum adjustments.
  • Project engineering experience related to water‑resources, drainage, hydrology, and hydraulics design projects.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license.
