Position Overview
We are seeking a BIM/VDC Coordinator to join our growing VDC team. This position plays a key role in converting design intent into constructible 3D models, coordinating with project managers, detailers, and field foremen to optimize prefabrication and installation workflows. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Revit-based mechanical systems, understands field construction practices, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain 3D mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, and process piping) models using Autodesk Revit and Sys Que.
Coordinate across disciplines to resolve clashes and produce constructible, fabrication-ready deliverables.
Generate spool drawings, shop drawings, and field installation plans.
Collaborate with project managers and foremen to support prefabrication and installation sequencing.
Manage model updates through design and construction phases.
Support integration with Stratus, Connect2
Fab, and Trimble field technologies.
Contribute to continuous improvement of company BIM standards and workflows.
Qualifications
Experience in BIM coordination or mechanical detailing.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP), Sys Que, and Navisworks Manage.
Understanding of mechanical construction systems, materials, and installation practices.
Experience with coordination meetings, clash detection, and model-based prefabrication workflows.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with Trimble, Bluebeam, and fabrication shop workflows is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
