We are seeking a geotechnical, civil, or structural engineer to join our Resilience Environment team in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Role DescriptionYou will help improve quality of life by supporting our growing asset integrity team with geotechnical aspects related to pipeline geohazards. Your primary focus will be on pipeline integrity associated with natural forces (especially river-related), while collaborating with engineers, project managers, and technical experts across diverse pipeline asset integrity and environmental assessment projects.
Role Accountabilities- Assist project managers and task managers with developing technical scopes of work and cost estimating for proposals on project opportunities.
- Perform field work (up to 25%) focusing on health and safety across varied climates and geographies.
- Assist the geotechnical engineering team in evaluating existing and proposed conditions in geotechnical modelling software for design and construction.
- Assist the geotechnical team with reduction of field data for engineering evaluations.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Actively scope, estimate costs, and perform natural forces assessments on pipelines, covering coastal, riverine, and land movement risks.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines, including fluvial geomorphologists and environmental engineers.
- Engage with national and global technical project teams; strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to demanding schedule expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental, or Structural Engineering or closely related field.
- EIT Certification.
- Master’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental, or Structural Engineering or closely related field.
- Relevant coursework in Hydrology, Fluvial Geomorphology, and/or Rosgen training courses.
- Experience with Office 365 (e.g., Excel), Finite‑Element Modelling (FEM) programs such as Geo Studio Slope/W and Seep/W, and Bentley Systems Open Ground.
- 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.

The salary range for this position is $57,786–$99,392; actual salaries vary based on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
