RN Critical Care - Radiology & Endoscopy

Overview

Cedar Park Med is seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses to support pediatric and adult patients in Interventional Radiology, Radiology (CT, MRI), or Endoscopy
. This position requires flexibility to work across specialty areas and float between hospitals as needed.

Schedule:

Endoscopy: 13 week contract. Day shift, 8hrs, 5 days. On call for weekends, evenings, and nights required.

Hiring for both local and traveler positions! Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles.

• Assist with pediatric and adult procedures in Radiology or Endoscopy.
• Place IVs, monitor sedation, insert foleys, administer medications, and assist physicians during procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, including recovery room support.
• Conduct thorough nursing assessments in an acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team.

• Current New York State RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care/procedural experience (Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, or similar).
• PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required (must be maintained).
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
