CRNA Opportunity – Crouse Health Hospital

We are looking for a CRNA to join an experienced anesthesia team at Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

Location:

Syracuse, a medium‑size metropolitan area with restaurants, events, shopping and outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing and golf. Skiing near Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands and Finger Lakes wine region. Major universities include Syracuse University and Upstate Medical University.

Crouse Health Hospital offers a variety of cases and sites, centrally located within a one‑block radius from one another. The hospital includes the main campus and three ASC sites. The surgical team provides a collegial anesthesia environment with supportive relationships among surgeons and OR staff, excellent anesthesia tech support and a pre‑op testing center.

• Thoracic, Vascular, Urology/Renal, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry
• Endocrine, EP/Cath Lab, Healthy Pediatrics

• Pre‑anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
• Certification or recertification by AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Encouraged to work to full scope including regional anesthesia

• W2:
  Per diem rate $195 per hour
• 1099: $210 per hour plus shift differentials
