Job Summary:

The licensed clinical social worker will provide outpatient therapy to adults in the Psychiatry Faculty Practice (PFP) at Upstate Medical University's Department of Psychiatry. Responsibilities include providing individual DBT-based psychotherapy. We plan to expand the use of online AI technology to enhance psychotherapy, with part of the treatment being computerized. The person in this role is expected to become the local expert after training in this therapy modality and to engage in training and supervising others.

Minimum Qualifications:

New York State LCSW social worker from an accredited training program with a practice focus on adult psychiatric patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

Some experience or training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is preferred; training to become an expert in DBT will be provided.

Work Days:
Monday through Friday, days.

Salary Range: $60,406 - $88,200. Please note that salaries depend on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, market, and business considerations. Salaries are based on full-time employment (1.0 FTE) and will be prorated for less than full-time.
