Job DescriptionFull‑time and part‑time positions are available in all acute care and specialty areas. Varying shifts and weekend options are offered with higher pay. Our virtual connected care™ team integrates experienced telemedicine RNs into care assignments, supporting workloads while providing continuous education and career growth.
Our internal Resource Pool is a relationship‑based care team that supports staff consistently while enhancing expertise across a variety of settings. The team fosters a caring culture throughout all service lines and specialties. It offers dynamic learning opportunities, complex medical treatments and continual advancements while providing premium pay.
Our hospital includes acute medical, cardiac, surgical and respiratory specialties. Orientation is tailored to individual needs, allowing quick familiarization with diverse patient‑care types.
Responsibilities- Collaborate, communicate, and facilitate optimal patient care using computerized/digital platforms.
- Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge.
- Apply clinical knowledge, critical thinking, case‑management, and adult education principles to coordinate and support patient care plans.
- Ensure seamless, effective, and efficient transitions of care across the continuum.
- Monitor departmental quality metrics and maintain accurate documentation in the patient record.
- Act as mentor, clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and navigator.
- Provide quality care in accordance with New York Regulatory Agencies, National Standards of Practice, and nursing and clinical service standards.
- Maintain knowledge of health‑care economics, trends, reimbursement methodologies, and apply this to daily practice.
- Recognize situations requiring immediate intervention and continue professional development.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in the State of New York with at least one year of experience.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- GN or RN with less than one year of experience may apply to Graduate Nurse Residency positions.
- Specialty credentialing and educational degrees preferred according to the clinical nursing practice specialty area.
- Maintain all licensure and certifications in accordance with NYS regulations.
- Pursue continuing education to update knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
- Clinical ladder advancement based on experience, staff engagement, and national certification.

- Team Leader, Clinical Coordinator, Unit Manager, and Clinical Services/Nursing Administration.
$39.65–$58.35 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education and may vary by location.
