Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dependable Phlebotomist to join the team at a premier healthcare facility (Acute Care/Academic Medical Center) in Syracuse. In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and ensuring the proper collection, labelling, and handling of specimens. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with excellent interpersonal skills and patient interaction abilities.

Skills:
Basic understanding of medical laboratory technology desired. - Soft Skills: Excellent communication and patient interaction skills. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures, verify patient information, label specimens correctly, maintain a clean and well-stocked work area, and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
