Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT, NYS Radiologic Technologist License, BLS, and 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a Neuro Interventional Radiology setting under the direction of physicians and interventional radiologists
- Responsible for efficient operation of fluoroscopic equipment and assisting with neuro endovascular angiography, vascular angiography, and interventional procedures
- Processing films, uploading images to a Radiology Information System, and inputting data for billing are part of the role
- Assigned hospital OR scrubs are required
- Rotating call schedule including weekends and holidays is call only
- Responsibilities include scrubbing in and assisting physicians with specialized neuro and vascular cases
- May be required to process and upload imaging and support billing documentation
- Assigned to an environment where collaboration with physicians is key
- ARRT certification required
- NYS Radiologic Technologist License required (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab required
- Knowledge of neuro interventional procedures preferred
