Travel RN – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum

Syracuse, NY | 13 Weeks | Start 01/30/2026 | Nights

Human Edge Health is seeking experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses for a travel assignment in Syracuse, NY . This is a night shift position with floating between Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Syracuse, NY

• Start Date: 01/30/2026

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts

Unit Details:

• Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Nursery

• Floating required between units

• Circulating C-section experience required

• Ability to scrub C-sections preferred

• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license

• BLS certification (must be able to re-certify)

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care L&D experience (within the past 2 years)

• Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care in an acute Labor & Delivery setting with minimal supervision

• Perform strong nursing assessments and clinical interventions

• Circulate and assist in C-section procedures

• Float and support care in Postpartum and Nursery units as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication with the care team
