IV Sterile Compounding Staff Pharmacist

A direct hire position is available for a Home Infusion Pharmacist based in Syracuse, NY. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in pharmacy within a specialized home infusion setting, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify intravenous (IV) medications accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, guiding their daily tasks and ensuring compliance with standards
• Communicate directly with patients to provide updates and answer medication-related questions

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Current New York State pharmacist license is required
• Hospital pharmacy experience is essential
• Background in home infusion pharmacy practice highly preferred
• Experience or strong knowledge of IV sterile compounding is a significant advantage
