Radiology​/Imaging - Ultrasound Tech

• Sonographers (medical instrument technicians) must hold an RDMS certificate (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (in abdomen, breast and/or obstetrics & gynecology depending on the services provided).
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR

• The Contractor is expected to provide experienced technologists, that have a minimum of three years of experience in exams performed.

Mainly-Monday-Friday 7:30-1600;
Occasional evening shifts 1600-MN;
Occasional coverage at Rome Clinic;
Eventually resuming on-call:
Rotating between 4 Ultrasound Techs= 1week on call/month.

• A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Certificate in abdomen, OB/GYN, and/or breast) depending on the services provided.
• Experience performing ultrasound studies which include, but not limited to:
  Abdomen and retroperitoneum, small parts, gynecology, male pelvis, obstetrics,
  vascular imaging
• Experience performing vascular studies which include, but not limited to:
  Upper and lower extremity venous, Carotid, ankle brachial index (ABI)/Segmental Pressures, Aorta, Renal Artery, Lower Extremity Arterial, including stents and bypasses.
• Phillips EPIQ 7 or EPIQ 5 experience preferred
• Knowledge of digital Imaging and PACS.

• Abdominal (GB , Liver, Renal, Pancreas, Spleen, Bladder and any pelvic pathology).
• Renal Sonography
• Renal Artery Doppler – r/o renal artery stenosis*
• Bladder
• Abdomen Doppler
• Aorta
• Lower Extremity Venous Doppler – r/o DVT.
• Carotid Doppler
• Lower Extremity Arterial Limb Studies
• Pelvic
• Chest Sonogram
• Superficial masses
• Scrotal Sono – r/o mass, torsion, abscess, infection.
• Lower extremity vein map.
• Upper extremity vein map.

The VA has the right to refuse any candidate submitted by the contractor.
