We are seeking a Senior Programmer / Analyst to join our team in Syracuse, NY. The Moonshot team at Upstate Medical University, part of the Information Management and Technology (IMT) division, is dedicated to solving some of healthcare’s most complex challenges through the use of emerging technologies. We are seeking a dynamic and versatile team member who blends technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to ensure success for our end users.

This role requires a user experience mindset to help scope projects and drive them forward, while providing our end users with support once a project has been delivered. Ideal candidates will have hands-on user support experience with a solid understanding of business analytics and artificial intelligence (AI).

• Bachelors degree and 3 years relevant information systems (preferably in a health care environment) experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, plus strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
