Position SummaryThales Airspace Mobility Solutions team seeks Dev Sec Ops Engineer to support secure multi‑cloud platforms. Build, enhance and support infrastructure across public and private clouds. Design and implement scalable, resilient, secure infrastructure enabling efficient microservices deployment.
Key Areas of Responsibility- Full lifecycle of platform and infrastructure services from design and build to deployment, operation, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with development, security and operations teams to design, implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines, translating requirements into reliable automated delivery solutions.
- Implement and maintain secure, scalable and highly available infrastructure, ensuring compliance expectations.
- Develop and enhance automation to improve system reliability, scalability and delivery velocity using Dev Sec Ops best practices.
- Proactively identify system inefficiencies, troubleshoot incidents, resolve issues to maintain service availability and performance, and contribute technology selection and architectural evolution.
- Participate in continuous improvement of development and operational practices, including security, quality and reliability standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination. Hands‑on experience in Dev Sec Ops , demonstrated contributions to production systems.
- Strong practical experience with open‑source hosting and container technologies:
Linux, Docker, Kubernetes; managing databases and configuration management systems. - Experience in security integration: static/dynamic analysis, vulnerability management, security audits; knowledge of Dev Ops tools:
Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD. - Hands‑on experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OVH); proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies and supporting containerized workloads in production.
- Practical experience applying modern Dev Sec Ops practices:
IaC, Git‑based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible; scripting languages Python, Bash and programming languages for automation scripts. - Knowledge of monitoring and managing system integrity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, etc.; experience working in Agile development environments.
- Working knowledge of the national airspace system and/or unmanned aircraft systems.
- Experience working on technology‑centered programs for U.S. Federal Gov’t Agencies.
- Hands‑on experience deploying, operating and supporting private cloud or on‑premises Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate and operationalize open‑source technologies to deliver reliable internally managed platform services.
- Proven ability to drive automation and scalability improvements through technical contribution and best‑practice adoption.
- Experience contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within Dev Sec Ops or platform engineering teams.
Position Requirements
- Schedule:
9/80A – 1st (9 hrs Mon‑Thu, 8 hrs 2nd Fri, Start @ 09:00 AM) or 5/40 – 1st (8 hrs Mon‑Fri). - Travel: approximately 10% annually.
