Position

Description:

The IT Technical Support Specialist is responsible for support of all information technology infrastructure systems including installation, security, maintenance and support of new and existing desktop computers, tablets, laptops and servers, and a variety of network devices such as hubs and switches. Daily problem resolution and problem escalation for CMP supported applications and related technical infrastructure. This includes client/server systems, specialized software applications, web application software, peripheral devices, copiers, mail equipment, phone systems, and others.

In addition, this role performs technical consultations for hardware and software applications to employees.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Advanced training in computer science, computer engineering, or related field preferred plus in-field experience required. Relevant experience with related certifications (MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CNE) may be considered.
• Minimum 2 years experience with desktop hardware and software engineering, including experience with network communications and server support in a CISCO/Microsoft environments.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be dependable, punctual, relate well with others and able to meet deadlines.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $25.00 DOE
