Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $33.00/hr

The IT Support Analystwill provide a wide range of technical support to end-users across the company, which includes troubleshooting and resolving issues related to company-supported devices, user accounts, software installations, connectivity, and other infrastructure equipment.

This position is full-time and located in our Firestone facility (not remote). Additional travel between our four (4) Syracuse based facilities will also be required. The IT Support Analyst will report to the Director of IT.



Key Responsibilities
Server Administration

  • Proven expertise in managing day-to-day maintenance of both physical and virtual servers.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in installing, configuring, and backing up servers to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Active Directory in a Hybrid AD environment
  • Demonstrated experience in print servers.
  • Experienced in monitoring server performance and ensuring system reliability.
  • Proficient in email administration, including setup and maintenance.

Network Administration

  • General knowledge of troubleshooting network issues both wired and wireless networks and access points
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

Desktop Administration

  • Experienced in configuring and managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Proficient in deploying and updating desktop applications and operating systems.
  • Adept at providing technical support and training to end-users.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for a variety of hardware and software systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with company-supported devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Manage Windows updates, assist with Exchange Management console
  • Manage file share permissions and network file share servers
  • Directly contribute to continual improvement of the company’s security posture
  • Work independently on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions
  • Provide first level support to users

Technical Skills

  • Familiar with ticketing systems to manage support requests ensuring timely resolution and communication with users.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and adapting to new problems and challenges.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for servers and network systems, including design specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Knowledge of Exchange (both 365 and On Prem) and Office 365 products
  • Proficiency in problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non- technical users.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Team player with an emphasis on both knowledge sharing and learning.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service, maintaining positive relationships with users.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, communicating clearly and collaborating with other team members.
  • Ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Displays empathy and patience with users of all levels of sophistication.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems or networking engineering, or related field or associate's degree in computer science, systems or networking engineering, or related field with 2 years of similar professional experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of IT security practices and data privacy regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
