Windows Server Administrator

The Server Administrator will act as a Tier I/II support person in a fast moving, uptime sensitive, aeronautics manufacturing environment. His/Her primary role will be to aide in the installation and maintenance of the Windows Server Infrastructure. Our client will rely on you to learn their environment and work with various teams to build servers and support their end-users. This individual must have a Intermediate Level acumen dealing with Windows Servers, running on VMware Infrastructure.

• Provide technical support and solutions related to implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Servers
• Provide onsite technical support for Server Environment where necessary
• Install, configure, and maintain various types of hardware and software evolving around Windows
• Build and install computer infrastructure, using a VMware vSphere
• Create user accounts and terminate user accounts (Active Directory)
• Monitor the performance of Windows Servers
• Support monitoring and maintenance of Microsoft infrastructure
• Support Dell hardware, amongst others
• Provide timely and efficient customer service

• At least 3-5 years of Windows Administration Experience
• At least 3-5 years experience working with VMware vSphere
• An understanding of generally accepted data center / data room best practices
• Ability to work in a high-pressured environment
• Must have an interest in technical and professional growth
• Must be a team player
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a good listener and communicator with the onsite staff
