As a Dev Ops Engineer at Hidden Level, you can expect to...
Design, extend, optimize, and harden existing Dev Ops infrastructure:- Design scalable deployment and configuration strategies forlocal andremote embedded devices and servers
- Investigate and implement solutions to increase the performance of existing build systems
- Improve automation and coverage of continuous delivery pipelines
- Evaluate, prioritize, and address infrastructure problem reports
- Work with small, dedicated team passionate about solving challenging problems and delivering results
- Participate in collaborative, cross-functionaldesignand code reviews
- Document and clearly communicate designs to peers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ yearsofrelated professional experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overcome technical challenges through teamwork and collaboration
- Experience with deploying and maintaining services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Working knowledge ofIaCtechnologies (Salt, Ansible, Chef, etc.)
- Expertise in Configuration Managementtechnologies (Git, Perforce)
- Experience with using and managing CI/CDplatforms(such as Git Lab, Jenkins, Bamboo,JFrogArtifactory, etc.)
- Experience with Shell/Bashandadditional scripting languages (Python, Ruby, etc.)
- Expert working knowledge (including the ability to setup, configure, upgrade, manage, harden, and troubleshoot) of Linux-based and open-source systems and technologies
- Experience with or the drive to learn:
Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) - Multi-cloud infrastructures
- Experience with or the drive to learn:
The location of this positionhas the ability toberemote,hybrid,and/or onsite in the Syracuse, NY office.
