DevSecOps Engineer

Gauge Engineering Services is seeking an Agile / Dev Sec Ops  Engineer to support the adoption and execution of modern software delivery practices across complex defense and mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate will help drive Agile development processes, Dev Sec Ops  implementation, CI/CD pipeline integration, configuration management, and digital engineering initiatives while enabling teams to deliver capabilities through iterative and incremental releases.

This role serves at the intersection of engineering, software development, and program execution, helping teams accelerate delivery, improve quality, and maintain compliance throughout the system lifecycle.

Gauge Engineering Service sis an established subcontractor supporting multiple new development efforts related to Electronic Warfare efforts.

• Support Agile software development teams utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid Agile methodologies.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Assist engineering teams in planning, tracking, and delivering incremental capabilities through frequent release cycles.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of Dev Sec Ops  practices and workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines that automate software build, test, security, and deployment processes.
• Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git-based platforms.
• Support configuration management activities across software, infrastructure, and system baselines.
• Utilize Jira, Confluence, and related collaboration tools to track requirements, tasks, defects, and program deliverables.
• Partner with software, systems, test, and security teams to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Promote digital engineering best practices across engineering organizations.
• Support metrics collection, process improvement initiatives, and Agile maturity assessments.
• Assist teams with release planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation activities.
• Ensure development processes align with program, customer, and cybersecurity requirements.
