Senior Director of CABLExpress

A pivotal leadership role focused on strategy, innovation, and operational excellence for enterprise and data center cabling solutions. Lead a high‑performing, cross‑functional team and own full P&L responsibility.

Base Pay Range

$/yr – $/yr (including base salary and incentive compensation). Final compensation will be determined based on geographic location, skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, and overall alignment with business and organizational needs.

Location

Position available in Syracuse, NY or Norcross, GA.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Strategic Leadership & Growth
  • Develop and execute a 1–3 year growth strategy for market focus, offerings, geographic expansion, and workforce planning.
  • Partner with the Chief Product Officer to execute strategic growth plans for the team and markets.
  • Assist the Chief Product Officer in business planning, budgeting, and new business initiatives.
  • Own full P&L responsibility, including bookings, revenue recognition, gross margin, inventory, backlog, and WIP.
  • Build scalable delivery models by establishing make/buy criteria for self‑perform versus subcontract approaches.
  • Standardize design and installation practices by creating playbooks for copper, fiber, and pathways, including BOMs and installation standards.
  • Implement quality and commissioning processes, including testing, labeling, documentation, as‑builts, and closeout procedures.
  • Ensure regulatory and OEM compliance with TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC/NFPA, AHJ requirements, and warranty procedures.
  • Sales & Market Enablement
  • Support go‑to‑market and pricing strategy by partnering with Sales on pipeline health, strategic pursuits, estimates, and differentiators.
  • Lead pre‑sales engineering efforts, including design meetings, customer walkthroughs, and conference calls.
  • Develop proposal and RFP frameworks, including repeatable templates and value‑engineering options.
  • Build and develop high‑performing teams by recruiting leaders, defining career paths, certifications, and competency matrices.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Deliver presentations and updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain close communication with other departments to drive business growth.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of team management experience, preferably in sales/product management roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to hire, assess, train, coach, and motivate sales members.
  • Strong customer orientation and enthusiasm for the job and company core values.
  • Experience in a high‑technology field preferred.
