Remedy Staffing is currently looking for 1st & 2nd shift Machinists at multiple companies.
Position: Machinist
Pay: $17+ (DOE)
Hours: Depending on company
Days: Depending on company (either M-F or M-TH)
Shifts: 1st & 2nd
Locations available: Syracuse (1st and 2nd shifts are available) and Kirkville (Kirkville positions you must be able to train on 1st shift)
Responsibilities may include:- Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to use various measuring tools including micrometers and gauges
- Ability to inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Oversee daily maintenance of machines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to use and understand a variety of gauges
- Mathematical skills
- Prior CNC operation, set up, and experience is required
- Prior programming experience is preferred
- Weekly pay
