Cedar Park Med is hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for ambulatory specialty clinic openings in Syracuse, NY.
Current specialty areas include:
- Family Medicine
- Hematology / Oncology
- Urology
- Monday–Friday
- Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 13-Week Assignment with Possible Extension
- Current New York State RN registration
- Current BLS certification or ability to be recertified
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience within the past 2 years in an acute care facility/ primary care/urology (specialty dependent)
- Strong nursing assessment skills
- Ability to perform the majority of patient care skills within the assigned specialty area with minimal orientation and supervision
- Ambulatory or outpatient clinic experience
- EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience
- Triage experience
- Recent oncology experience
- Primary Care/Urgent Care
- Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory specialty clinic setting
- Perform nursing assessments and support clinic flow with minimal orientation and supervision
- Assist with specialty patient care needs in Primary Care, Hematology / Oncology or Urology clinic setting
- Support triage, patient education, care coordination, and provider communication as needed
- Assist with outpatient procedures, treatments, and clinic-specific workflows
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and clinical staff to support safe and efficient care delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinic and hospital protocols
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams
