Nurse Practitioner, Healthcare Nursing, Pediatric Nurse
Join a growing family practice in Syracuse, NY as a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner, seeing patients ages 5 and up in an outpatient primary care setting. The practice is adding a provider to keep up with growth, and the role is built for an experienced NP who is ready to practice independently. You'll start with training and shadowing, begin with a lighter caseload, and build to about 20 patients a day.
You'll work Monday through Friday, on site from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Real autonomy: you practice independently, without physician supervision. The clinic is operated and owned by fellow FNPs! A gradual start, not a cold one: you shadow an experienced provider at the practice, begin with a low caseload, and build up to about 20 patients a day.
EMR training is included: if you haven't used the practice's EMR (Medent), you get one to two days of hands-on training.
A defined workday: you're on site from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and after 4:30 it's your call, whether you wrap up charting and head out or stay longer.
True family medicine: your patients range from children age 5 and up through older adults.
