Associate Veterinarian

DeWitt Animal Hospital, P.C. has been serving clients in the Syracuse area for over 70 years. We are a busy, single‑doctor Veterinary Clinic seeking 1-2 Associate Veterinarians to add to our team. Our clinic is a full‑service companion animal clinic (canine and feline patients only). Our ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, a desire to learn, be responsible, professional, possess high ethical standards, be compassionate, and enjoy working in a team‑oriented environment.

Candidate must have or be able to obtain a NY veterinary license (new graduates welcome). New graduates will be supported as they gain experience in all aspects of the position. Interest in surgery and dentistry is a must.

We are a practice performing both preventive and wellness care, along with soft‑tissue surgery and dentistry. Two nearby hospitals – one a comprehensive 24‑hour emergency hospital, the other an urgent care facility – attend to any after‑hours concerns, allowing our doctors the personal time they need for a positive work‑life balance. Cornell Veterinary College is a 45‑minute drive away, and a variety of local veterinary specialists provide referral options for the most progressive treatment of our patients.
