Research Scientist
Upstate Medical University
• East Syracuse, NY
The Research Scientist will participate in the retinal organoid model development and design. Responsibilities include reagent preparation (expression vectors, cell lines, and validation), in vivo live cell imaging, functional assays of photoreceptor biology, design and analysis of experiments, preparation of presentations to lab members, and attendance of lab meetings and seminars.
Minimum Qualifications- PhD (or equivalent) degree and three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in CNS vascular biology and barrier formation is preferred.
- Numerous high‑quality, first‑authored papers in the field are a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work with groups of investigators is a plus.
Varies depending on experiments.
Salary$65,000 – $75,000
