Data search of electronic medical records
Research assistant will have opportunities to assist in development and writing of conference presentations and peer-reviewed papers
Prior to applying for this work-study position, you must have identified a Bioethics and Humanities faculty member who is willing to serve as mentor-supervisor for a specific project. Interested candidates should (1) review available projects through the Office of Medical Student Research and contact the appropriate faculty member. If no projects are available, candidates may (2) contact Dr. Şerife Tekin, Director of the Individual Study in Bioethics, specifying that they are interested in work-study, not elective credit.
If you are successfully paired with amentor-supervisor and project, you will then be approved to apply for the work-study position. Applications submitted without prior approval from Bioethics and Humanities will not be reviewed.
Must be a current student enrolled at Upstate Medical University and approved for financial aid through the Student Financial Aid office at Upstate.
Work Days:Salary Range/Pay Rate
$17/hour
