Shaughnessy's - Line Cook at Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Syracuse, NY

Compensation: $17.50 to $21.00 per hour

Description

We are looking for our next great team member to join us at the Shaughnessy's restaurant in the historic Marriott Syracuse Downtown hotel. You will work in an Irish Pub style environment, preparing food items in the kitchen in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food items in the kitchen of our Irish Pub, in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
  • Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.
  • Organize, prepare, and cook all food items in assigned stations for restaurant meals and assist the chef in training and supporting the kitchen staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and uphold high standards of hygiene and teamwork.
  • Show flexibility, especially during evening hours and weekends.
Qualifications
  • Cooking experience in a restaurant or catering setting.
  • Flexible schedule, especially during evening hours and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance.
Experience
  • At least 2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant or catering setting.
