Industrial Sales Engineer

Syracuse, New York (Remote)

You will need to have sold fans, pumps, industrial ovens, incineration equipment, boilers, centrifuges or industrial motors. We are looking for a sales engineer who already knows how industrial buyers think.

You are the front person for Halifax Fan in the USA. You open the conversation. You keep the relationship. You work with our proposal team to close the right work.

You will use Linked In and other web tools to find new opportunities. You will also look after the customers we already have.

You speak for the customer inside the business. You make sure we know what was promised, and that we can deliver it.

• Build and run a clear plan to grow new and existing accounts
• Lead the sale from first contact to close, then stay close after the order
• Work with proposals on price, scope and contract terms we can actually meet
• Travel across the USA to meet customers
• Feed real customer needs into product development and into Fan Constructor
• Keep the wider team clear on what the customer needs, without bending how we build

• An engineering or technical degree is preferred
• At least five years in operational or technical sales
• Comfort with travel on a regular basis
• The ability to work across design, proposals and production
