Dr. Lammle is actively seeking students available to work on ongoing neuroscience research projects in his lab. The research involves scientific and clinical studies in collaboration with various medical specialties, computer science, bioinformatics, and innovations. The project focuses on applications of 3D printing and virtual reality in medicine.
This project involves segmentation of 3D imaging datasets using post-processing software for 3D visualization, virtual reality, and 3D printing for medical applications. Students should be enrolled in a graduate program in Medical, Health Sciences, or Public Health. Dr. Lammle, the principal investigator, has affiliations with neuroscience, physiology, neurosurgery, and neuroradiology. Students will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art research techniques.
The position requires a part-time commitment, with details to be discussed with the mentor. Required skills include interest or experience in 3D graphics, image processing, holographic technology, or 3D printing.
Minimum Qualifications- Must be a current student enrolled at Upstate Medical University and approved for financial aid through the Student Financial Aid office.
