Security Officer - Night Shift

Full time

Night Shift: 10:00 pm – 6:30 am (includes weekend and holiday rotation)

Responsible for enforcing security related policies and procedures to provide a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, patients and physical properties. Performs additional duties as assigned to support overall division and hospital goals. A valid NYS driver’s license is required. New hires receive a $1,500 full‑time sign‑on bonus.

• Enforces security related policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Performs assistant duties to support division and hospital objectives.

• NYS certification as a Security Guard required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of security experience (highly desirable).
• College‑level coursework in criminal justice a definite plus, but not required.
• BLS/CPR certification and first‑aid training required.

• Ability to diffuse and handle violent physical situations calmly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Medium work: standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.

Clinical and outdoor setting. Exposure Class I.

Pay Range: $19.00 – $26.50 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills and education. The range may vary by location.
