• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the location.
• Document all incidents and security-related activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate and cooperate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Provide assistance and directions to visitors, tenants, and/or employees within the location as requested.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
