Job Description:

We are seeking individuals with verifiable experience in the garage door trade to join our team as Installation/Service Technicians. This role involves driving to job sites, assessing customer needs, and completing the installation or repair of doors and dock equipment to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Travel to job sites as directed by the manager to assess and address customer service, repair, or installation needs.
• Perform installations and repairs of garage doors and openers, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of all products, enhance mechanical skills, and learn new installation techniques to meet our high standards of quality workmanship with minimal warranty issues.
• Implement safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure all job tickets are accurately completed, signed, and submitted.
• Communicate with management regarding any problems or changes in the scope of work.
• Maintain truck inventory and develop an understanding of all parts, including their numbers and descriptions.

• Opportunities to attend paid professional training, including training sessions by David Mount at Mount On Site Training in Maryland, a highly regarded industry expert.
• Opportunities to obtain technician certifications through the Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to safely lift 75 pounds overhead
• Verifiable experience in the garage door industry
• Welding experience is a plus
• Clean NY State Driver's License
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate (non-CDL)
