We are looking for an energetic Roofing Foreman to join our team! In this role, you will cover roofs of structures with shingles or other related materials, as well as perform sealing, insulating, or soundproofing processes as needed. Looking for A hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Past experience as a roofer is preferred and a positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities- Inspect problem roofs to determine the best repair procedures
- Cover roofs with appropriate materials (shingles, slate, etc.)
- Cement or nail flashing strips of metal or shingle over joints to make them watertight
- Estimate materials and labor required to complete roofing jobs
- Interact professionally with customers and effectively communicate about the scope and status of work
- Past experience as a roofing foreman preferred
- Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools
- Experience working with all types of building materials
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to work in extreme environments, e.g. hot sun, below freezing, crawl spaces, etc.
