Job Description

The Carpenter is responsible for framing using metal or wood studs, along with hanging and finishing drywall. This role involves building walls, ceilings, stairs, windows, and doors.

• Frame using metal or wood studs.
• Hang and finish drywall.
• Build walls, ceilings, stairs, windows, and doors.

• Experience with construction framing and finishing.
• Proficiency in using carpenter's tools such as square, hammer, screw guns, tape measures, and saws.
• Understanding of blueprints and blocking.
• OSHA 10 certification.

• Experience with concrete, cement, and forming.
• Carpentry and finish carpentry skills.

This position is based in commercial construction work across Syracuse, NY. The work culture consists of long-tenured employees in crews of 5-10. The dress code includes work pants, jeans, and necessary PPE such as hard hats and steel-toe boots. The typical hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Syracuse,NY.
