The Visitation Center provides a safe opportunity for parents to visit with their children who are in foster care. This position is responsible for monitoring visits while providing educational and clinical resources to the participating families.
Position Details: Full-Time, $23.00/hour with Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive intake and evaluation of prospective clients.
- Monitor and assess visits that take place between children in foster care and their biological parents.
- Document all family interactions during the visits
- Provide feedback relating to issues that surface during the observed visit(s).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Child welfare and/or child development experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to provide culturally competent practice.
- Valid NYS Driver License
- Access to private transportation during work hours.
